I can't believe how great this thing is.
If you make protein shakes, you quickly find out that cleanup is the most annoying part of the process. Protein is hard to get consistant and clumps together. You will spend a crazy amount of time picking it out of your container, your mixer, or that stupid little metal ball that comes with your shaker.
Not if you have this thing. It makes a perfectly consistant shake - every time. Not only that, but the cleanup? Fill the thing with water, shake, and dump it out. Do that maybe 1-2 more times. Done. Ready to be used again.
I'll never use a mixer to make a shake again.
Seriously, it's that good.
I was skeptical of this because I'm used to the ones with a springy ball to help blend...but I gave this one a shot based on the theory of their design. Holy crap, it friggin works. I figured I'd stack some odds against it and give it a go. 12oz milk, 1 heaping scoop of protein powder, 1 scoop creatine powder and a few table spoons of peanut butter for good measure. Maybe 10-15 good hard shakes and it was entirely smooth to drink, everything blended, didn't have clumps, no peanut butter or powder on the lid or bottom.....just all mixed super easy. I'm genuinely impressed with this. 10 out of 10 recommend.
I tried it after years of using my trusty blenderbottle, and it's actually really cool and overall a better product. The plastic itself feels premium and high quality, and surprisingly it actually does mix well without having to deal with the metal ball. The only downside is that this special shape is more annoying to clean with the sponge, also there is a deep crevice where the cap thread is which you can't clean with the sponge, you need to use a bottle brush once in a while. Overall, cleaning is still fast and acceptable, and the upsides make it worth it.
